Exhibition Design
Teatro de la Abadía, 2014
A site-specific spatial installation where exhibition design becomes a narrative device to reinterpret the work of José Hernández.
Exhibition dedicated to the work of scenographer José Hernández, developed in collaboration with curator Ronald Brouwer. The project presents a clear spatial narrative that allows visitors to engage with original sets, masks, costumes, and drawings from historic productions.
The exhibition focuses on the relationship between objects and space, organising archival material into a coherent visitor journey that makes Hernández’s creative universe accessible and legible.
The installation unfolds as an experiential sequence where scale, proximity, and materiality shape the visitor journey.
Spatial relationships and visual tension work together to activate engagement and reflection.
